Jr .Net Developer

The .NET Software Developer will work on customer facing enterprise solutions for SetSchedule portfolio of SaaS products. You will be trained by our Lead Software Architects on using our existing .NET based frameworks and then be responsible for individual development projects.

We’re looking for expertise in development of large scale .NET Web 2.0 applications in VB, C# and SQL Server back-end calls.

Responsibilities

• Implement multiple new products and platform initiatives in a .NET programming environment

• Build robust and secure applications able to withstand very high transaction loads

• Develop detailed knowledge of our existing framework and be the go-to person for US based business analysts to discuss requirements

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering with demonstrated academic excellence

• 2+ years experience developing MS SQL Server enabled .NET Web 2.0 enterprise applications

• XML and XSLT

• Comfort using .NET library with XML

• Equal comfort in VB and C#

• Experience using javascript

• Understanding of core ASP.NET architecture and technologies as well as experience building web applications without the use of wizards, controls or other code generators hiding these complexities

• Enjoy object model, data model, and web service design

• Passion for best practices in computer science disciplines, object orientation, and code reuse Experience in Scrum development techniques a plus as is working in a team environment where attention to source control, merging and documenting code is expected
