Jr. / Mid-Level PeopleSoft developer

A new world of opportunity exists at Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a PeopleSoft HRMS Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future for our

Treasury customer. This position will be located in Washington, DC.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Business Solutions Group. These candidates will directly interface with our client to deliver PeopleSoft modifications for their delivered product. You must possess great communication/people skills.

Overall development activities will include but are not limited to requirements analysis and definition, functional design and development, technical design and development, product development activities in support of application enhancements and system problems (e.g. writing PeopleCode, building or altering PeopleSoft objects, creating/modifying component interfaces, modification of application engines, writing DMS and/or SQL statements, creating SQRs etc.), unit testing, preparing detailed technical design documentation, conducting technical design walkthroughs, and acting as a peer

reviewer for other system modifications.

Candidate’s primary responsibilities will be devising innovative solutions and new business process methodologies, analyzing system issues, developing and modifying system objects, unit testing of modifications, correcting defects and

complying with configuration management practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze system requirements and functionality

• Develop technical design documentation

• Code and unit test solutions using all tools and coding languages related to the PeopleSoft HRMS product

• Lead walkthroughs of technical designs

• Conduct peer reviews

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for a Software Development Analyst 3 are…

• Bachelors Degree or higher (advanced degree may be substituted for some work experience)

• Minimum of 5 years of total IT experience

• Minimum of 3 years in PeopleSoft experience

• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9+

• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation security clearance

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Integration Broker Experience
