Jr. Java Developer

Only GC or US Citizens.

2 yrs of experience is good.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Familiarity with programmatic interaction with Relational Database Systems (preferably Oracle, Sqlite)
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (preferably in Java, C#, C++, etc.)
• Familiarity with Script Programming (preferably in JSP, Flex Action Script, etc.)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (preferably agile development)
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to work well under pressure, plan, set priorities, adapt to change, and meet established timelines
• Ability to develop effective relationship with internal and external contacts and work well within a team
• Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a positive and energetic demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Desire to expand knowledge in many development languages, applications and tools.
• Proven ability to think technically and analytically
• Creative problem-solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with programming the following technologies: SQL Scripts, Java, JSP, Servlets and other J2EE web technologies.

• Experience working with JSF (ADF, My Faces, etc.) and JPA (Hibernate, Top Link, etc.)
• Experience working with Advanced CSS, XML Technologies and Mobile Programming
• Experience with PL/SQL and Reporting tools

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to sit for long periods of time.

• Job duties require frequent use of keyboard and ability to operate computer equipment.
