Jr. Java Developer

Primary Purpose

This is an entry level position on a team that supports Warehouse Operations and Transportations Systems. The systems include Carton Tracking, Radio Frequency warehouse applications, BlueJay Flagship as well as Manhattan’s TMS system. Carton Tracking and
the Radio Frequency warehouse applications are custom Java applications running in WebSphere. The team supports a range of technologies but most core applications are written in Java. Initial responsibilities will be supporting the systems. As the associate
gains experience, they will participate in more project based Java development.

Major Responsibilities:

• Testing Support
• Development of Junit test conditions for Shipping Systems.
• Operational Support of key applications. Call rotation for off hour support once systems are learned.
• Develop and test, implement Java programs. Development will increase as experience is gained.
