Jr. Internal Developer

PURPOSE:
The Jr. Internal Developer will assist in creating and maintaining custom applications to enhance the guest and team member experience at Mall of America.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Self-motivated and able to manage time well

Communicate effectively with teams across various jobs and departments

Writing code, testing, debugging software applications

Explore, create and develop ways to improve the business

Effectively educate others to utilize your projects

Collaborate with the marketing teams to ensure consistency in branding and structure

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Perform other duties as assigned

Understand, conceptualize and collaborate on applications — from both a technical/programming perspective and a business perspective

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.

Knowledge and hands-on experience of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.

Android and mobile development experience preferred.

MS SQL and database experience preferred.

Comfortable working with MS Windows Environment.

C# developer with an understanding of how to create web services

Competency in, Microsoft Visual Studio, web, social media or integration tools and programming languages.

Sharepoint Online, Powershell and Azure experience a plus.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds

Kneel and bend — occasionally

Ability to push/pull cart with 20 pounds of force.

Sitting for extended periods of time.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components PURPOSE:
