Jr Financial Analyst

We are seeking a bright, highly motivated individual with solid finance knowledge coupled with strong communication skills that are looking to jump-start their career through hands-on training and experience at a growing firm. Must be local to Boca Raton and/or its surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Corporate Development/Finance Areas in developing, maintaining and using financial models for numerous analysis
• Assist in analyzing and interpreting financial and market data to provide logical and repeatable explanations
• Analyze business processes and procedures to identify areas of weakness; offer solutions to improve same
• Learn how to design and develop financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
• Begin preparing financial reports on trends, customer analysis, statistics, costs and margin structures
• Assist in sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities
• Perform company and industry research and gain in-depth understanding of sector

Required Skills and Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS with demonstrated coursework in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related subjects
• Internship or full-time work experience in finance, accounting, or business
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to multitask and work with limited supervision
• Excellent quantitative, problem solving and teamwork skills
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrable self-starter
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset
