United Forming, Inc. , an Atlanta-based corporation, is searching for applicants to fill a full-time entry-level Developer / Application Support Specialist position at its Atlanta/Austell office. Duties and Responsibilities

Support, enhance, design and develop .NET applications using Visual Basic and SQL Server.
Provide technical expertise and user support related to the Vista by Viewpoint ERP software.
Serve as the designated expert on software technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and assist users in their adoption of new systems.
Assist in hands-on IT enterprise system support, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing & monitoring backups, supporting voice/data networking and configuring systems and applications.
Provide back-up assistance as necessary supporting the installation, configuration, maintenance, and help desk support of end user workstation hardware, software, printers and other peripheral devices.
Travel to jobsites or other UFI offices to train users on software applications. Apply lessons learned from meeting with users to develop enhancements to Vision and Viewpoint.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant .NET development experience including Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, Visual Basic .NET programming language and SQL Server database required. MCSA or MCSD certification preferred.
1+ year experience with integrated ERP software desired. Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint ERP software is a big plus.
Experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems and applications required.
Working knowledge of computer hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, smart phones, backup devices and basic network equipment required. Knowledge of server virtualization, specifically VMware ESXi, is preferred.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a similar field preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong customer service orientation required.
Highly self motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
10% – 25% travel required.
Spanish bilingual a plus.
