Jr. Developer

Position Description/Summary:

• Provide services to support both the development of custom applications and the modification and enhancement of existing applications
• Develop web based applications using HTML, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, and XML and use T-SQL or Microsoft SQL Server for database management
• Perform programming activities, which include developing design specifications; testing, debugging, verification and quality standard confirmation; source code management; user interfaces design; training and documentation;
• Utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and industry best practices
• Adhere to a consistent software architecture for all applications, which will be primarily based on the Microsoft .NET Framework
• Good troubleshooting skills

Minimum Position Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• 1-3 years of relevant experience developing applications in C#, VB.Net, HTML, XML and/or JavaScript
• Good understanding of the Microsoft .Net Framework
• TFS a plus but not required
• Java a plus but not required
• Experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL
