Java/UI Developer

ADP seeks Associate App Developer at our Parsippany, NJ location. This position supports development of ADP’s “Workforce Now” product, a Human Capital Management system which provides Payroll, HR, Time Management, and Benefits Administration applications for clients with 50 to 4000 employees RESPONSIBILITIES: Join a team of talented software engineers, plan, execute and deliver top quality software deliverables on-time. Act as a primary, dedicated technology interface owning the technical responsibility for architecture, analysis, design, development, and implementation of responsive user interface. Work closely with product to define and implement and improve user experience.

Overall, you will be responsible for day-to-day task management and sprint planning, working closely with product and stakeholders, participating in design sessions, leading and mentoring engineers to ensure that they follow best practices and guidelines, performing heads-down development, working on technical integrations with backend APIs, and working with QA to assure top quality deliverables on-time. 3 years of experience with Object Oriented Design & Programming using Java / J2EE Java Enterprise Technologies including Servlets JavaScript Frameworks: DOJO & React preferred ( or JQuery, Angular JS) Enterprise Java Beans 3.0 Hibernate Java Persistence Architecture Web Sphere application server 8.0 ( or WebLogic or JBoss or Tomcat ) Eclipse / Rational Application Developer tool. Java Server Pages Java Server Faces Java Messaging System Agile: Prefer experience with Agile software development methodology Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and four (4) years of experience. Or a Master’s degree and four (2) years of experience.
