JavaScript HTML Developer

We are a start-up commercial real estate software company is seeking a part-time full stack developer to support our development team with the testing and quality assurance of our latest suite of commercial real estate systems solutions.

The part time entry level developer is responsible for ensuring that all software is developed and delivered with the highest standards of quality and best practices. This individual will possess a strong business analytical background and great testing skills. This role encompasses a mixture of ongoing quality assurance, design validation and debugging of high level test plans for UAT. A background in manual and automated testing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities and Duties

Works closely with the core development team to understand the design spec and ensure that development is on-track to meet agreed upon requirements· Tests the software as a user to find and communicate any deficiencies so technical updates can be made· Continuously increases product knowledge and vertical experience.· Develops and maintains product test plans· Creates, maintains and updates product documentation (for end-users and administrators)· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team-based development environment· Knowledgeable in agile and ability to work in an agile environment by ensuring that the plan supports the client’s goals and expectations, delivers the greatest business value to the Company, and be willing to make adjustments to exceed these expectations· Must be a self-starter, own deliverables end-to-end, prioritize workload effectively and thrive in dynamic environment. Must be familiar with LAMP stack and have a significant knowledge of Javascript and HTML
