Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled JavaScript developer who has solid to strong understanding of how to apply these skills with the React web framework while contributing to a Node.js API that sits on top of our robust IoT Data and Analytics platform.

You will be challenged by our fast-paced environment and new markets while contributing to flagship products and services as you help shape an entire industry. At THINaër, we measure progress in minutes and seconds and agility is a key component of our success.

Responsibilities:
Work with Product Management and the Engineering Team to execute and deliver on product requiremets

Write JavaScript code using React and Webpack to build out a greenfield product which showcases the power of THINaër’s IoT platform

Write JavaScript code using Node.js, Mongoose, Express/Hapi and other libraries to enhance and patch our enterprise grade RESTful API

Write unit and integration tests which will be a part of the team’s suite of tests and a part of our CI/CD pipeline

Contribute to Engineering and Product team Wikis and Documentation as a part of the software release process

Participate in all Agile/Scrum activities including Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Reviews and Retrospectives

Bring a passion for quality in everything that you do with a focus on delivering product in customer’s hands

Possess a strong desire to do one’s best work in a team environment where collaboration and alignment are extremely important

Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

3 – 5 years of professional JavaScript development

1 + years of professional experience using React

Professional experience working on any technology that delivered a public facing API

Professional experience with Version Control systems like Git, Subversion or TFS

Previous exposure and/or experience with Agile principles not just including processes like Scrum or Kanban but also with DevOps, TDD and/or Extreme Programming

Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform decisions.

Bonus skills: Passion for or experience with UI/UX design and HTML/CSS
