Java/Net Developer, Client & Integration Technology

Job Description:
ENTERPRISE ROLE OVERVIEW:
Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provide deep technical expertise in the design, development, integration, enhancement, debugging, support, maintenance and testing for software applications & large-scale distributed enterprise solution that support business units or supporting functions. Seasoned teammate will focus on setting technical direction, consulting and delivery of robust solutions to the enterprise on high visibility and critical projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
o B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

o 5+ years of high level Development or related experience desired.

o Knowledge of current, new and emerging data transaction technologies.

o Proficient in OOP languages (JAVA, .NET, etc.).

o Proficient in dynamic languages (PERL, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.).

o Proficient in Web Services (REST/SOAP/API) Development.

o Proficient in enterprise integration technologies (Apache Camel, Mule, etc.).

o Proficient in web development technologies.

o Proficient with Unix/Linux shells, tools and utilities.

o Mobile technologies integration experience needed.

o Big Data technologies (Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.) knowledge is a plus.

o Network securities and technologies is a plus.

o Prior work history as an excellent collaborator with strong oral and written communication skills.

o Prior work history exhibiting strong leadership skills within single and multiple teams across an Enterprise.

o Prior work history successfully performing in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment with business and technology partners.

o Prior work history demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and takes ownership to accomplish tasks, solve problems and produce results in a timely and accurate manner in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment.

o Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently.

o Demonstrated enthusiasm working with new and emerging technologies (opensource, etc.)
