** What You’ll be Doing

Design, Build and Execute against Platform as a service offerings
Design and Develop Embedded and Application Level software and solutions
Create and Maintain Detailed and High Level Designs according to the selected design methodology.
Design, Develop and implement Java based solutions
Define requirements for Infrastructure service offerings
Code reviews and walk-throughs for software accessing databases
Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors
Manage Pre-Production and Production Environments Liaison within the team and support Deployment
Be able to lead development teams through the software development lifecycle
Apply knowledge of various Java platforms to develop innovative software solutions

** What we’re looking for

9 to 11 years of experience working with Web Services coding experience in Java with J2EE Development. Deep understanding of web service technologies is a must.
Experience working on Cloud services is required. Experience designing enterprise apps on the cloud. Experience with DevOps tools, e.g., Chef, Jenkins
Experience with object- and service-oriented programming
Experience with cloud computer platforms, eg., AWS, Azure
Experience with data management, including backups, restores and recovery
Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
Experience working with database infrastructure and user management tools
Familiarity with API development
Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP). Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience in any of the following: Servlet, JSP, EJB, JMS, JMX, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, ORM, J2C/JCA, JDBC
Experience with code management tools such as RTC or Git
Experience with markup languages such as XML, JSON, HTML or DHTML
Experience with enterprise application servers such as WebSphere or JBoss
Experience with relational database concepts such as Oracle, UDB, SQL Server, data modeling, administration (DML, DDL)
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience designing software solutions
Experience developing in and configuring J2EE containers
Optimization and performance of SQL queries is required
Proficiency working with Java application and Expertise in Oracle DB is essential
Expertise in debugging Production issues and 24/7 deployment support is a must
Trouble shooting problems including TCP/IP, DNS,HTTP expertise would be an added advantage
Experience working on a Telecom domain would be a plus
