Java Developer Consultant

Do you consider yourself an expert in Server Side Java? Are you interested in working with modern JS frameworks and front-end components? Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment working on highly technical projects relating to java?

Our client is one of the biggest SOW consulting companies in the greater Seattle area and they are looking for Java Developers that want to work on complex projects for their client based in Bellevue.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3 + years Object Oriented development using Java
• 2 + years working with front end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience writing server-side application logic in Java or another JVM-based environments
• Some exposure to modern JavaScript languages would be very beneficial
• Understand SOA and REST APIs
• Computer Science degree or similar or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills for this role

• Professional experience with OAuth 2.0
• Previous experience working in a consulting environment
• Experience working in an Agile environment
