Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer that is an innovator and problem solver. You thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment handling multiple responsibilities, you want to create and develop novel software solutions, and you know how to leverage software to help a growing and dynamic business succeed. You enjoy developing technology that has an immediate and measurable impact on the business.

A Day in the Life Will Likely Include:

• Develop & support solutions in unique and innovative ways, staying abreast of the latest advances in the following areas
• Web-based and Mobile-based applications
• Restful API
• E-commerce solutions
• Complex integration with distributed systems
• Integration to AWS services * Participate in the entire application lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Support existing production system by participating in incident management process as application support specialist.
• Review and assess existing enterprise applications, to support new features, performance improvements, upgrades, and ongoing sustainment.
• Debug & troubleshoot existing code base and recommend/implement fixes as required.
• Participate in benchmark, performance, load, and stress testing, and remediation of issues identified
• Participate in activities that ensure the successful use of these systems including: developing documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
• Assure availability and scalability of web/e-commerce sites.

Sounds good? What You’ll Need to Land this Job:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience
• Working with off-shore development teams
• Top Java coding proficiency
• Familiarity with application containers – Tomcat, Spring
• Web UI coding experience – JSP, AJAX, JavaScript
• DB integration experience – Oracle SQL, Hibernate, myBatis
• Knowledge of Eclipse, ant, subversion, and Github
• Wireless telecom domain knowledge – advantage
• Telecom back office processes knowledge – advantage
