Java Developer

Role : Java Developer

Location : Tampa / Dallas

Required Skills:
·

Software and language skills must include 5+ years’ experience in Java as well as J2EE, STRUTS, JSP’s.

·

Experience with technologies such as JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, DataTables, CSS, HTML.

·

Solid understanding of JSON and XML.

·

Strong understanding of back end back end technologies.

·

Experience developing RESTful Web Services.

·

Experience with Eclipse or Rational Application Developer.

·

2+ years’ experience with the following AWS services:
o

EC2

o

Elastic Beanstalk

o

S3

o

Data Pipeline

o

CloudWatch

o

DynamoDB

o

RDS preferably Aurora

o

Lambda

o

AWS messaging a plus (Kinesis, SQS)

·

Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

·

Familiarity with data modeling.

·

Able to design and implement scalable software architecture and design patterns.

·

Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems working with message brokers, including development of producers and consumers.

·

Experience with testing frameworks such as Junit.

·

Familiar with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)

.

·

Experience with Continuous Integration / Delivery.

·

Experience with continuous integration tools, like GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Maven.

·

Knowledge of source code control management systems and configuration management (Git preferred).

·

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·

Self-motivated to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
