Sr Application Engineer 6+ years of experience

• Lead the architecture and design, development and deployment of all database related work, involved in supporting an Angular and Node JS based application

• Strong experience in architecting and designing scalable, resilient and highly optimized database design.

• Extensive experience in writing and troubleshooting Transact-SQL code and design ( store procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).

• Experience working with JavaScript applications. Strong understanding of JS, HTML, CSS.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server components (Profiler, SSMS, SSCM, DMV’s, system stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS,ETL, OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse).

• Experience working on AWS cloud and DB in AWS, both RDS and EC2 instances.

• Maintain and regularly update database coding standards. Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to all application development team members of standards and best practices; * Extensive experience with Performance tuning. Review database objects for data integrity, quality, security, recoverability, scalability, maintenance, backup and restoration and capacity planning and recommend changes as necessary.

• Experience with other database and data solutions such as Redshift, Python, Pyspark, PostgreSQL and MySQL are desirable.

• Experience working with a object oriented programming language other than SQL.
