IT Systems Support Technician

We have an immediate need for a Systems Support Technician. This is a hybrid position that will support both our systems & networking teams and is based out of our Fullerton, CA Corporate Office.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with the networking team to secure and maintain a global corporate network. Prevent, identify, escalate, and solve complex networking issues related to global network connectivity.
  • Support the systems team by assisting with desktop, server, and client systems administration and client support.
  • Assist internal clients with hardware and software issues and requests in a multi-region/state capacity.
  • Act as a liaison to the helpdesk team which may include documenting helpdesk service requests in the tracking system and issue follow-up to ensure tickets are responded to and either solved or escalated according to SLA.
  • Provide support and manage user logins to various systems including Microsoft Active Directory as well as custom & SaaS applications.
  • Network and email account creation and management in an Active Directory & Office 365 environment.
  • Assist in performing patch management of corporate systems.

Job Requirements :

  • Ability and eagerness to learn and strengthen networking skillsets in a Cisco based network environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
  • Working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack.
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge.
  • Solid application support experience with MS Office suite and other productivity tools.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong customer service & interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Desire to succeed in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Any certifications in A+, Network+, Security +, MCP, or CCNA preferred.
  • Experience supporting a hybrid cloud environment in Amazon’s AWS or the Microsoft Azure Cloud highly desirable.
  • Patch management experience using SCCM, WSUS or other deployment software preferred.
  • After hours support for escalated issues or scheduled maintenance & changes may be required.
