IT Systems Integration Analyst

General Statement of Function:

The incumbent for this position will provide the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of a centralized network, supporting the LAN, WAN, Microsoft Active Directory, and the underlying server and desktop infrastructure. Helpdesk support for network, server, and desktop-related issues will also be a part of the day-to-day activities for this position.

Example Responsibilities:

• User and Group Administration, including password, access management and GPO’s
  
• Building and supporting Windows and Linux servers in a VMware environment
  
• Managing Network infrastructure, switching and routing
  
• Patch Management and application installation
  
• Administering and supporting remote access technologies (Citrix, SSL VPNs)
  
• Administering nightly server backups
  
• Protect data integrity with antivirus and backup software
  
• Maintaining infrastructure & related systems such as VMware, Citrix, , Storage Area Network and MS SQL server
  
• Providing desktop and software development
  
• Providing phone support for end users, documenting incidents in the IT tracking system
  
• Providing staff training
  
• Researches available tools and technologies to determine alternative technology solutions
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining integrated (multi-platform) systems in a multiple platform environment
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving problems

The following are not required, but may increase your score on the examination:

• Knowledge of WEB servers and Microsoft IIS and .NET
  
• Experience performing software development and technical tasks, such as investigation, analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and implementation of web environments
  
• Knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, ASP, Java or other web software
  

Desired Qualifications (typically gained by at least three years of experience within the last six years):

• Experience and knowledge of server operating systems management
  
• Experience managing server clusters attached to Storage Area Networks
  
• Experience in Windows Server Administration
  
• Experience in managing VMware Server Virtualization environments
  
• Experience managing virtual environment backups using ComVault Software
  
• Experience with Powershell scripting
  
• Experience managing Microsoft Office 365 Messaging
  
• Experience using monitoring tools such as WhatsUP Gold Log Management
  
• Experience managing Dell servers, Cisco UCS server infrastructure and Pure Storage
  
• Experience managing Cisco VoIP system
