IT Support Technician

VTM Group seeks an IT Support Technician to join our Corporate Information Technology (IT) group.

What you’ll be doing:
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service support to our on-site, traveling and remote users through a variety of communication methods via email, instant message, phone support and in-person. This Tier-1 position will report directly to the IT Manager and will have opportunities to grow and develop with the company. Additionally, they will assist the Corporate IT staff with ongoing research, testing, deployment for various projects.

Skills and experience required for the role:
Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on Windows

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Perform hardware and software upgrades to notebooks and workstations

Troubleshoot wired/wireless network and internet connectivity issues

Diagnose and correct problems with printers or multi-function devices

Provide technical training and/or assistance to end users

Excellent customer service skills

The following skills are considered a plus:
Mac OS experience a plus

Linux Administration

Laptop imaging experience a plus

vSphere Experience
