IT Support Technician

Wells Insurance is seeking a highly-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented IT Support Technician for our Wilmington, NC office.

Wells Insurance is one of the largest and most established insurance agencies in North Carolina. Currently representing A+ rated regional and national carriers and providing coverage to individuals and corporations in 36 states.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience (including work, school, or volunteer work) with hardware installation, support, updating, decommissioning and proper disposal of data/equipment
• Experience with software installation, support, updating and removal
• Assist with hardware/software inventory tracking
• Ability to support networked group printers, analog/virtual faxing and wireless networking technologies
• Troubleshooting end-user employees in remote locations
• Assist in maintaining VoIP telephone system and related equipment
• Support Microsoft Office 365 desktop applications and Microsoft Hosted Exchange
• Support company managed systems
• Professional communications skills and the ability to work as a team member
• Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualities:

• Possess a college degree with a major or minor in Information Technology
• Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
• CompTIA A+ or higher certifications
• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems
• Positive and dynamic team player
