IT Support Technician

Our network of fully employed, client dedicated, locally based Nurse Practitioners are bringing better care to Medicare and Medicaid members nationwide. Our Providers deeply engage with members, thoroughly reviewing current and past health status, reviewing all medications, and preventative care recommendations.

Job Purpose : As an IT Support Technician, your job is to provide hands on support for all operational services and technical implementations of core computer deployed at various Advance Health locations. This includes working with partners to ensure high availability of services systems to enable our business to function in a seamless and secure manner.

Specifically, the role will operate as a key part of the Service Desk Team to ensure that end users are receiving appropriate assistance and problem resolution in a timely, effective and service oriented fashion, including contributing to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users when necessary. This includes ensured data integrity and retention, server maintenance and desktop support.

This position also requires experience in desktop support, software installation and configuration, Microsoft Office, Antivirus, licensing and simple network administration.

Responsibilities:
Job Duties include, but not limited to :

  • Works collaboratively with a cross-functional team to understand, enhance, and maintain Advance Health IT infrastructure
  • Responsible for equipment, security and computing facility for corporate and remote offices including hands-on support of the Chantilly office
  • Provide computer system support on a daily basis
  • Provide 2nd level operational support as required
  • Perform upgrades, scheduled software patches and emergency changes
  • Provide support for critical business needs outside of normal business hours via cell phone notification and/or other communications
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, SSAE-16, and HITRUST standards

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Healthcare background preferred
  • 3+ years desktop support in a Windows environment
  • 2+ years junior server administration experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks/projects to required deadlines
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Strong interest in technology, software development and database theory
  • Team player who follows procedures set in place in order to provide reactive and proactive support for Mission Critical systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation
