IT Support Specialist – Atlanta, US

We are looking for an experienced, motivated full-time IT Technician who’s comfortable with working independently as well as with teams, to help us deliver first-class IT support with exceptional customer service.

You will be in charge of maintaining IT functions for a global workforce working permanently on the day shift.

If you understand how to remotely manage various operating systems then this could be the role for you.

A perfect match for us involves someone who can work alone but be a part of a team located around the world. This candidate should be able to manage their own workload, speak to people at all levels of IT knowledge, from none to experienced levels, and has experience in remotely managing a range of computers from afar in other offices/countries. The candidate needs to be able to pick up new technical tasks quickly and remain calm under pressure.

A few more details on what this role involves:

  • remotely managing (setting up/fixing) the following operating systems:
    • Windows 7 and 10
    • Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
    • Mac OS X (up to latest version)
    • Linux command line (not essential, but any experience is preferred)
  • having experience in mobile phone operating systems (iOS and Android)
  • having experience in:
    • Administering/Managing Google Apps (G-Suite)
    • IT Ticket Systems (Samanage ideally)
    • Windows Active Directory
    • Remote Desktop Software Teamviewer
    • Remote deployment of hardware/software
    • Firewall/network switch configuration
    • Jira/Confluence and Bitbucket
    • SIP phone systems
    • Hosting environments
