Altisource Asset Management Corporation (“AAMC”) is an asset management company that provides portfolio management and corporate governance services to investment vehicles that own real estate related assets. Its initial client is Altisource Residential Corporation, a real estate investment trust that acquires and operates quality, affordable single-family rental homes throughout the United States. AAMC’s principal offices are located in the United States Virgin Islands. AAMC also has operations in the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg and India through its subsidiaries, AAMC Cayman SEZC Ltd., Altisource Consulting S.a r.l. and River Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., respectively.

Job Profile

The IT Specialist is responsible for overseeing all technology related aspects of the company. The person will work with Management to grow the company through the deployment and use of technological resources and advantages.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
• Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers on users’ premises.
• Loads software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
• Operates and maintains systems running on Amazon Web Services.
• Administration of Amazon WorkSpaces.
• Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
• Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users.
• Oversees transition from current provider to new network services provider and third party help desk.
• Coordinates all activities with network services provider and third party help desk.
• Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication.
• Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
• Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
• Administers e-mail and anti-virus systems.
• Rotates daily back-up media.
• Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification And Experience Requirements

• Proven experience as IT Specialist or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Experience with administrative tasks on Amazon Web Services and Amazon WorkSpaces.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
