IT Service Desk Consultant

We are looking for a Service Desk Consultant to work within the Retail Services and Risk Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephonic technical support to stores;
  • Provide remote support;
  • Basic & 2 nd Line trouble shooting;
  • Prioritising and managing incidents;
  • Providing pertinent feedback to Line Manager with regards to common problems and trends relating to the calls from stores.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of a Matric (Grade 12 Qualification) and 1 year working experience;
  • An IT qualification / certificate or diploma would be an advantage;
  • Previous Service Desk experience or exposure to a retail store environment is essential;
  • Well-developed communication skills;
  • Computer literacy is essential;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Adaptability;
  • Planning/organizing ability with highly effective time management skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet;
  • Excellent, verbal communication and people skills;
  • Strong team player, committed and energetic;
  • Must have reliable transport;
  • Must be available to work shifts (incl weekends/public holidays).
