IT Senior Solution Architect

Perform solution design and architecture using the Agile method of solution implementation and maintenance to develop and enhance the company’s retail, Omni Point-of-Sale (POS) and e-commerce systems, including xStore, Salesforce Cloud Commerce and the iOS platform. Maintain an understanding of network, hardware and a variety of retail store devices and instruments. Conduct integration with POS peripheral, interface and services for both desktop and mobile setup. Design and execute solutions using service APIs and mobile platforms such as xCode and appcelerator, as well Windows based applications and tools. Maintain an expertise in Omnichannel areas such as ShipFromStore, Click and Collect, EndlessAisle, RFID, micro and standalone services, as well as an understanding of enterprise and fulfillment solutions such as Sterling OmniHub, Manhattan, IIB, SAP AFS, RETAIL, CAR, BI, MSTR. Serve as the open source technology expert for customization and services using technologies including JAVA, MVC frameworks, PowerShell, and Perl. Apply retail domain skills, including retail business ideas, processes, communication and enrichment techniques. Conduct digital solution engineering for mobile platforms including iOS, Android and hybrid frameworks Titanium and Reactive. Implement payments and secured protocols such as XPI to work with existing vendors and payment solution with MX9XX and e355 mobile payment terminals. Apply specialized knowledge of the database to assist the Reporting, Forecasting and Master Data teams. Perform presale activities with creativity and innovation by analyzing them against industry standard methodologies and adaptable new technologies and innovative ideas. Work with a large-scale systems consuming the global landscape. Ensure the implementation of IT framework and methodologies which follow the ArchitectTheNew strategy. Collaborate with adidas North America market specific vendors and asses the solutions as well establish the harmonization process with adidas global teams and take through the market specific business challenges towards the solutions. Develop and implement interim solutions to meet business criticality while permanent engineering solutions are prepared. Perform coding to build prototype or proof of concept by evaluating the technical options for business requirements and providing the future solution to business teams. Apply knowledge of security and Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards to assist with PCI audits and security assessments of any new/existing solution according to the market specific legal and compliance standards. Perform database and object modeling by applying retention techniques. Perform Web application development for the implementation of cloud based solutions for staff tracking and vendor gateways. Provide expertise to Market Support teams also take ownership of responsibilities as an individual and with the team.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field of study, and eight (8) years of experience in a related occupation. Work experience must have included: Five (5) years of experience in solution design and architecture; experience developing Omni-channel solutions for Order Management Systems, including Sterling Commerce, Endless Aisle, Omni POS, Ship from Store, and Click and Collect; experience with order fulfilment, warehouse system integration, logistics management, payment compliance, supply chain systems, settlement systems, and carrier routing; experience identifying gaps to analyze problems and implement solutions; integration of applications and mobile payment devices; xCode, iOS, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems. Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of time.
