We are looking for an IT Project Managerto join its highly skilled team in New York.

Position summary:

The Client Engagement team is responsible for driving successful end-to-end delivery of cloud software integration projects to meet our clients’ business requirements within constraints of timescale, cost & quality, as well as working with cross functional teams (developers, infrastructure engineers, product specialists, sales directors, traders). You will be the cornerstone of the integration cycle and the preferred contact of prestigious financial institutions. The products you implement allow our clients to manage very important portfolios of liquidity on the most important stock markets.

As an IT Project Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Responsible for coordinating and monitoring client projects.
  • Serve as single point of contact to regularly review progress of projects and drive alignment across disparate teams globally.
  • Identify risks associated with projects, identify means to mitigate those risks and escalate red flags.
  • Create functional specifications based on business requirements
  • You will assist clients with functional configuration, acceptance testing and validation.
  • Make sure the Go live stage and day-to-day activities of the different stages of the deployment is run smoothly.
  • Provide functional and technical support of the end-users.
  • Run trainings and change management activities.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Successful software project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Strong stakeholder management (clients and internal stakeholders).
  • Strong organizational and resilience skills
  • Functional knowledge of the industry/ product would be a plus.

Benefits:

  • Type of contract: full-time, permanent role.
  • Total Compensation: according to experience ($90K- $120K) + health plan + 401(k).
  • The position is based in New-York with some travel required (around 20%)
