Project Manager

BRIEF SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of the ClearCaptions PMO, this important role will support executive sponsors, business owners, and product managers in the delivery of products, solutions, and services that will help achieve our key organizational goals and objectives.

This person will provide overall project management for projects that are typically cross functional in nature and may have a higher degree of complexity. The project manager will be responsible for applying the necessary rigor and utilizing the appropriate methodologies to ensure project delivery.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Typical project management responsibilities, including: project leadership, detailed project planning, management of project schedules and resources, project communications, and project financials.
• Partner with Product Managers and Business Owners to support new product and service deployments, using the appropriate project delivery methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Partner with department leads and SMEs to identify change impacts and lead operational readiness efforts to help ensure successful implementation and adoption of the new service, system, process, or product.
• Partner with Technical leads and other I.T. teammates to ensure awareness and execution of a comprehensive and integrated project schedule.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management and/or delivery roles, with an emphasis on technology, application development, and product delivery.
• Excellent communicator with ability to comfortably and effectively interact with teammates at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent facilitation and elicitation skills, with the ability to lead discussions and build consensus across cross-functional teams, including business partners and technical resources.
• Willingness and experience operating in an agile and dynamic environment.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related business degree and / or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING A PLUS:

• Telecommunications industry experience
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience leading mobile application development projects
• Experience working as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, including requirements elicitation and analysis, enterprise analysis, solution assessment, and user acceptance testing.
• PMI Training / Certification
• Agile Training / Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

• Sitting, standing and walking (95-100%)
• Keyboarding (40-60%)
• Viewing computer monitor requiring close vision (95-100%)
• May lift or move boxes (up to 10 pounds)
