Project Manager/Business Analyst

Under the direction of the ClearCaptions PMO, this important role has considerable exposure to other senior management as a key participant in the planning, analysis, and delivery of enterprise systems, business process improvements, and customer-facing products and services.

This multi-faceted role will encompass both project manager and business analyst responsibilities. The purpose of this role is to successfully deliver IT and business projects / solutions as well as establish strong, mutually beneficial relationships between IT, Service, and Business functions to ensure strong alignment and execution of organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Typical project management responsibilities, including but not limited to: project leadership, detailed project planning, management of project schedules and resources, project communications.
• Partner with department leads and SMEs to elicit requirements and/or determine opportunities for system improvements.
• Partner with department leads and SMEs to identify change impacts and lead operational readiness efforts in preparation for new product and software deployments.
• Develop requirements and process documentation based on interviews, diagrams, surveys, and workflow analysis.
• Partner with Product Managers and other team members to plan and execute the successful implementation and adoption of the new service, system, process, or products.
• Lead key deployment activities, such as operational readiness, user acceptance testing, defect triage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of combined experience in business/systems analysis and project management.
• Excellent communicator with ability to comfortably and effectively interact with teammates at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent facilitation and elicitation skills, with the ability to lead discussions and build consensus across cross-functional teams, including business partners and technical resources.
• Expert at working with business leaders and SMEs to identify change impacts and execute change management strategies in preparation for software updates, new systems, and/or new product releases.
• Experience working with enterprise business systems, such as ERP, CRM, HRIS.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement and project management methodologies.
• Willingness and experience operating in an agile and dynamic environment.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related business degree and / or equivalent experience.
• An experience of working in the Telecommunications industry is an added benefit.
• Experience working with Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, ADP, Ceridian, and Sales Force, JIRA and Confluence will be a plus.
• Lean and Six Sigma Experience & knowledge is preferred.

Certifications:Having the following certifications will be useful:

• PMI Training / Certification
• IIBA Training / Certification

Physical Requirements:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

• Sitting, standing and walking (95-100%)
• Keyboarding (40-60%)
• Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone requiring close vision (95-100%)

Work Environment:
Work is performed in a business office environment. Travel to company, customer and vendor sites, including some that are out of state will be required.
