This position is responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities within a training development team developing client training courses. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services, technical leadership and support, and project coordination.

DUTIES

Plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities of the program, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the training development team

Forecast costs and equipment needs for the program as required

Stay abreast of the latest developments in technology and remain highly technically competent at all levels

Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support the training team with deliverables

Work closely with the Division Director to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the program

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in related field

At least ten (10) years of IT experience, knowledge and understanding of web technologies and relational databases.

At least five (5) years of experience in managing IT‐related projects, planning, designing, implementing new software applications, and managing operations and maintenance of the existing applications

In-depth knowledge and understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and methodologies (agile and waterfall)

Strong understanding of the complete systems development lifecycle from project inception through operations and maintenance

Strong decision making and problem solving skills

Excellent business and analysis skills

Excellent English communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated leadership role in at least three successful projects that were delivered on time and on budget,

One (1) or more years of experience managing CMS or DHS or Health IT related projects.
