IT Internship

Minerals Technologies Inc. has an Information Technology internship opportunity that will provide college students, majoring in computer science, an opportunity to gain real world experiences. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists with IT Audits
• Editing AD user and computer accounts
• Editing Track-It computer asset management
• Imaging computers
• Editing WSUS environment
• Lotus Notes Address book maintenance
• Monitoring Software Roll-out
• Backup Software Roll-out

Qualifications:

• Must be working on Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience or certifications
• Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer work experience in Information Technology working experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, network and PC operating systems
• Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards.
• Detailed oriented and analytical skills
• Ability to perform job duties independently
• Must be able to work on many different projects at one time
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional customer service orientation
