IT HelpDesk TechnicianTheIT HelpDesk Technicianis responsible forresponding to ITService Deskrequests andprovidingefficient service in support of PC’s, software, printers and related peripheral devices, equipment relocation, purchasing of new hardware/softwareandresolutions of security issues.This position does not have direct reports.ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support to all aspectsof thecorporate IT service deskrequestsInteract with employees and customers at the technical level, as requiredDiagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Tier I and Tier II technical issues relating to hardware, software applications, peripherals and other computer equipmentFollow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolutionInstall desktop hardware, software and peripheral componentsasrequiredPerform onboardingand maintenance of network user accounts and groups within Microsoft Active DirectoryPerform maintenance and troubleshooting on printers, copiersand IP phonesAct as liaison to external support entitiesConfigure, wipe, update and/or optimize Windows desktop systemsSet up, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 2013 mailboxes and Outlook CalendarsProvide assistance to team manager for various projects or tasksEnsure compliance with allHIPPA and PCIregulationsProvide wirelessnetwork support forfield-based users,including connectivity issues and VPN issuesMaintain technical documentation andservicecatalogon installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshootingDevelop procedures that outline how incidents, requests, and problems are identified, documented, escalated and managedOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GEDDemonstrated knowledgeof all WindowsDesktopOperating systems, Microsoft Applications/Office,Citrix, antivirus, and security.Minimum 5years’experienceasanIThelp desk technician Minimum3to5years’hands-on troubleshootingexperience with Windows7 & 10, Active Directory,Oulook,Active Directoryetc.Demonstrated knowledgeof basic network protocols and LAN/WAN environmentsStrong PC and troubleshooting skillsStrong knowledge of Physical Network Connectivity, hardware, PCs, Laptops, Network Cards, and RAMAn intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skillsAbility to work with peers in a team effortDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesA well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervisionCapability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast paced environmentAbility to self start and be versatile in a dynamic environmentAbility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demandsAbility to work a rotating on-call shiftWillingness to travelPREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degreeMCP CertificationITIL CertificationFamiliaritywithServiceNow tool-setWORK ENVIRONMENT: Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, andoccasional local and/or overnight travel, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
