IT Help Desk Associate

Pro Star Fulfillment is looking for an IT Help Desk Associate to provide technical support assisting end users with their day-to-day technical duties and issues. Pro Star Fulfillment is a growing product fulfillment company, with warehouses in Salt Lake City and Memphis. PSF has been in business for more than 20 years. The IT Help Desk Associate will be part of a close-knit team of IT professionals, and will take direction from the IT Director.

Essential functions:

• Initial contact for internal/external customer technical support required for hardware, software, telephone, network, operating system, printing and internet access
• Answering help desk phone/emails, documenting call, take first level corrective action, escalating when needed
• Perform installs, upgrades, moves and changes for computer workstation hardware and software, printers, tape drives, CD-ROM drives, and other peripheral devices

Required Education and Experience

• Strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware devices
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, MS-DOS, communications software, virus protection, and diagnostic software
• Ability to diagnose and resolve onsite and remote PC related computing problems

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Experience in information technology industry or related field
• Expereince working on special projects

Usually Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
