Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for developing compelling, detailed & technical IT content with input from IT leadership and IT SMEs, to leverage across IT and business partners (topic areas include: IT roles, IT Process, delivery model concepts, IT op model concepts, & technology concepts); working seamlessly with Corp Communications, HR OCM, and HR org design to provide context and materials to support Corp Communication requests and HR OCM activities; consulting with divisional Corp Communications leads on overarching communication plan and messages; understanding impacts across the greater IT and business organizations and incorporate into IT business content; serving as a subject matter expert on significant IT transformation efforts, delivery models, and role interactions to provide Corp Communications with content as requested; partnering with Corporate Communications, HR, and broad IT management to track themes of internal IT team or business partner questions / concerns about IT; participating in the crafting of materials to provide clarity and direction.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 2 years work experience, OR technical certification and/or college courses and 4 years relevant work experience, OR 6 years relevant work experience, including 3 years in Information Technology, and 1 years of communications experience.
• Ability to work independently, to influence others, and to drive work to completion.

• Ability to create content that is tailored for multiple audiences and expertise in PPT / visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of delivery models (OWF, Scrum, XP).
• Familiarity with IT roles and responsibilities and business interactions, and understanding of future technologies and their impact on the IT operating model.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and/or Masters degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Health Care industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of the ITOM interaction models and ways of working.
• Familiarity with application development platforms / languages.
• Familiarity with Cloud computing / SaaS / PaaS concepts / and other technology concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps / continuous deployment / integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Social Media tools, and community management experience a plus
• Web design / development experience a plus
• Ability to create graphical content that explains IT concepts, Graphic Design experience
