As an IT Developer II, you will:

– Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

– Be a source of technical knowledge for Corporate Applications.

– Position responsibilities include analysis, design, upgrading, implementation and support of applications in an Open Systems and backend Mainframe Environment.

– Required to analyze technical specifications and implement recommended solutions.

– Work within a team to deliver applications to meet business needs.

– Provide technical direction, maintenance and support of multiple vendor and in-house developed Banking Applications, including the installation and maintenance of purchased software packages.

– Responsible for integrating software packages with other Banking Applications.

– Assists in the integration of new technology and attaining product standardization.

– Supports department manager in the tactical planning of strategic objectives and reports to the manager on project status, team performance, and prioritization issues.

– Provides technical guidance to other members of the team.

– Requires frequent contact with business unit(s) to analyze Information Technology needs.

– Coordinate and collaborate with IT and business unit resources to effectively deploy solutions.

– Communication with the business unit regarding production and scheduled changes and any business issues

Work Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm); additional time as needed

Education: Professional with Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 5+ years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SQL Management Studio, Crystal Reports, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Must work well within a Team, have experience in cross-functional teams as well as be self-motivated, able to work independently and have experience with task and deadline driven projects.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and peers.

• Background with C#, Java, JMS, JDBC, Servlets, Beans, XML, Web Services, HTTP, HTML, Soap, Schema, WSDL, COM, DCOM and Development tools such as Eclipse, Database technologies (SQL and DB2), SOA technologies, Visual Studio, .NET, and Business Objects.

• Good Background and Understanding of Windows Server Environment. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills. Must be able to apply high level of technical skills to maintain optimal system efficiency, productivity and reliability.

• Background or Knowledge with Agile and Waterfall Project Technologies.
