IT and Operations Coordinator

Yo-Zuri, one of the worlds’ leading fishing tackle manufacturers, is looking for an Operations and IT systems specialist to join the team at our Port St. Lucie, FL, Sales, Marketing & Distribution facility. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, and PTO. REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

LOCATION: Port Saint Lucie, Florida

HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

TRAVEL: Not typical

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Operations and Systems Specialist you will be the primary point of contact for Inventory and logistics management, ERP Systems and Desktop Support, Data Analysis, Customer Relationship Metrics. This position will use best practice and leverage data analysis to coordinate the efficient and cost effective process of shipping and receiving product while adhering to customer specific logistical requirements.

  • Primary contact for Inventory Logistics between company sites.
  • Manage customer standards and logistical requirements.
  • Desktop Support including deployment, end-user assistance, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordination of support for other IT related infrastructure including Server 2008, Exchange, Active Directory, SQL server, workgroup and local peripherals, network infrastructure maintenance.
  • Maintenance of Dynamics SL ERP systems general operating databases for products, customers, customer pricing and related processes.
  • Maintain inventory audit and in-transit tracking from the initial order process to the pick shelf.
  • Management of EDI transaction flow and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain up to date SOP and regular training programs to meet and exceed customer logistical requirements.

Additionally, assist warehouse facility in ensuring that efficiency, quality, and safety goals are met by leading safety teams, providing best practice and efficiency guidance, and self-audit.

Accountability for results of this position will include operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, transaction processing efficiency, and customer metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Order fulfillment, Purchasing, International Sourcing, Inventory control experience.
  • Solid Microsoft Office proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint and Word with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Microsoft or COMPTIA Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Dynamics SL experience preferred.
  • Database mining using SQL or ODBC tools or Crystal Reports experience helpful.
  • EDI Experience with Big Box Retailers a plus.
  • Experience with hand-held barcode scanners a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations for warehouses.
  • Experience maintaining and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for repetitive tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well on a team.
  • Detail and multi-task oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, second language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
