IS Sr Analyst – Supply Chain

I. SUMMARY

The IS Sr. Delivery Analyst is responsible for the successful management and deployment of systems related projects across the enterprise. The role will serve as the lead in determining the appropriate approach for solutions and systems integrations. The IS Sr. Delivery Analyst is a technical specialist who will lead business driven projects.

The IS Sr. Delivery Analyst will be responsible, jointly with other IS and Business teams:

  • To define requirements and scope of delivery needed
  • To ensure proper documentation is generated for each system change requested
  • To manage change control
  • To perform rigorous testing
  • To lead end user and IS training of changes

The IS Sr. Delivery Analyst will also be responsible for meeting project timelines and successfully handing off to IS Service Team the solutions post deployment following internal governance. The IS Sr. Delivery Analyst may be required to travel for business related activities. This position will contribute to improving the ability of business teams to promote, adopt, and support Ingram Micro Mobility capabilities.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
IS Senior Delivery Analyst

  • Business Enhancements

Analyze, design, develop, and support system enhancements to meet business and customer requirements

  • Project Management

Participate with Business to define project deliverables and scope keeping the full system architecture in mind

Provide after hour, weekend, and holiday support of project deployments as needed

  • Interaction with Business and IS

Collaborate with Business and IS personnel during design, implementation and support activities

Contribute to the identification of opportunities (process, people and or technology) to improve project delivery and/or development methodologies

  • Documentation

Develop and maintain system handoff documentation

Assist with user documentation for fixes and enhancements

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5+ years of technical experience, with at least 3+ years of experience with Order Management, Reverse Logistics or Warehouse Management.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required or preferred:

  • Must have experience with Linux/Unix environment
  • Must have experience working with systems that generate high traffic and transactional volumes
  • Proficiency in both oral and written communication
  • Proficiency in preparing technical documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint
  • Proficiency in SQL preferably with Oracle and SQL Server
  • Proficiency with Visio
  • Experience in supporting or implementing warehouse management or material handling systems
  • Experience with business process development

VII. ENVIRONMENT:
May be required to work in an office environment with or without air conditioning and fluorescent lighting. May also be required to spend time in a distribution center without air conditioning. Some geographies may have remote office conditions of lower standards than the home country.
