Overview Senior Security Researcher (IoT) – Petah Tikva, IsraelRESPONSIBILITIES1.Perform research and analysis of IoT threats2.Study common vulnerabilities affecting popular IoT devices (like IP cameras, DVRs, routers, VoIP phones)3.Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing4.Work closely with internal Fortinet departments on improving our own products5.Develop signature detection in proprietary description language6.Share research information and technical knowledge on company blog and industry conferencesIn terms of requirements to meet these, the preferred option is for experienced candidates with the following requirements: REQUIREMENTS1.At least 5 years of experience in researching and reverse engineering security threats2.Experience writing code in C/C++, Python, Perl, Shell Script3.Strong experience in embedded Linux systems and Android4.Experience with tools including IDA Pro/OllyDbg, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp5.Knowledge of network protocols, network technologies6.Good communication skills, autonomous, and a team player7.Proven analytical and problem solving skills8.Empowered to make a difference in network security EDUCATION1.Bachelor or Master of Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering
