Description:SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES :
The software developer develops specifications for moderately complex software programming applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. This role develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. This position participates in design and coding activities with other staff members.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Designs/codes applications and IOT websites following specifications using the appropriate tools. Maintains and modifies existing applications without supervision as well as under direction from senior staff members. Developer will work with the firmware and hardware engineering team supporting various customer projects and IOT product lines. Performs maintenance programming for existing versions. Developing creative solutions to customer facing needs and challenges, both stated and forward looking. Work with cross functional teams for creating project plans while working with a stage gate NPD process. Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product.

Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems Familiarity with the .NET framework JavaScript coding (1-3+ years);knowledge of the following frameworks: AngularJS, Web Components, nodejs, React, D3 (or similar) JSON / Async / Single Page App programming HTML5, XML* Database (Relational/SQL/NoSQL) experience Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Understanding and experience of embedded firmware development a plus.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Required:
BS degree in Software Engineering
