Investor Relations Analyst

The Investor Relations Analyst will be responsible for assisting and supporting all aspects of the company’s investor relations practice. The analyst will involve executing financial analysis along with internal and external communication. Investor relations is a strategic management responsibility that integrates finance, communication, marketing and securities law compliance to enable the most effective two-way communication between a company, the financial community, and other constituencies, which ultimately contributes to a company’s securities achieving fair valuation. This analyst will focus on the financial aspects of the role as well as manage the coordination of external communications.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
  • Manage all aspects of the preparation of company’s financial communication, including earnings releases, investor presentations and other ad hoc items
  • Conduct financial analysis and research to assist in responding to inquiries from the investment community as well as other internal departments
  • Financial analysis includes analyzing historical performance of the Company and its peers, comparable company trading analysis and other ad hoc projects
  • Produce presentations for CEO/CFO speaking engagements
  • Primarily responsible for communications regarding the Company’s annual meeting and annual report
  • Liaise with Financial Planning & Analysis, Legal, Treasury and the Controller’s group to gather required information
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of external presentations and graphics, including investor presentation
  • Primarily responsible for content development, maintenance and monitoring of Investor Relations website
  • Complete general administrative tasks as needed
  • Coordinate with Public Relations on various external communications including the annual report, earnings releases, pertinent releases and investor/industry surveys

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in one of the following areas: Corporate finance, accounting or other analytic role; required
  • Undergraduate Degree; required
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics or other quantitative degree; preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Ability to work in changing/time sensitive/detail oriented environment on a wide array of tasks
  • Ability to travel as required
