Investment Banking Analyst Intern

Sahara Energy is a public company in Canada and a subsidiary of Guochuang Holding company which is worth 7 billion USD dollars. The investment division will be primarily focus on capital market in United States. The internship will get involved in working with top notch investment bankers and financial advisors in Wall Street.

Position : Full-time UNPAID internship for three months. Full time analyst position will be provided based on the evaluation of whole internship performance.

Location: The position requires working in our Manhattan office. And starts IMMEDIATELY. (Don’t apply if you dont fit) Please apply only if you graduated with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business or other related majors and are in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut).

Responsibilities : The intern’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to

• Communicate with bankers and analysts, arrange meetings and gather the information
• Conduct general research of industry primary focus on real estate, finance, education
• Build and maintain complex financial models to perform analyses under different operating scenarios using input from management and public sources
• Perform full valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO analyses
• Prepare and review complex financial analyses, including transaction impact analyses such as earnings accretion/dilution and value creation
• Participate in day-to-day deal execution, interacting with senior deal team members, client management teams, transaction counterparties and other advisors
• Manage due diligence processes, including preparing virtual data rooms, tracking and coordinating the information flow, and reviewing and analyzing company information
• Monitor and evaluate current events related to the client, its industry or the transaction
• Provide back office support.

Qualifications :

• We are looking for a recent college graduate with a degree in finance or related field.
• The candidate must have a passion for M&A and investment banking with the motivation to learn at a smaller firm.
• Ideal candidates should have excellent oral, written, and computer skills, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are a must.
