The candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of internal employee-related investigations across Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) in accordance with Company policy and procedure. Responsible for:

Developing investigation strategy, conducting thorough and prompt investigations of allegations of misconduct, and documenting the findings in written investigation reports in a logical and supported manner.

Preparing letters, reports and written summary of findings, with supporting documentation, that are fair, impartial and represent the facts; provides information for internal adjudicating committees; etc.

Gathering relevant facts and data by conducting interviews, collecting documents and other evidence, and other investigative techniques. Analyzing data and drawing conclusions supported by the facts.

Developing and applying advanced concepts, technique, and standards related to investigations.

Developing solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness. Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. Demonstrates integrity and sensitivity of diverse cultures.

Performing detailed work with accuracy; exercises sound judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive information; exercises diplomacy when dealing with people in sensitive situations.

Supporting the overall CI/Insider Threat program and strategy across the MFC enterprise. Will develop education and training materials in support of the CI/Insider Threat mission and will engage internal and external stakeholders on a continuing basis as an integral partner for the CI / Insider Threat program.

Providing recommendations to the leadership team/decision makers on methodologies, results and conclusions from applied operations research.

Ensuring that counterintelligence activities are thoroughly performed and properly documented for business reference and quality.

Providing recommendations and formulates/implements counterintelligence strategies for review by the leadership team to apply across the enterprise.

Interfacing with Corporate Office of Counterintelligence Operations and Corporate Investigations (COCI) and Senior Management on CI issues and will support functional leadership, including HR, Legal, Ethics and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) organizations.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance

Investigations experience and background in employee or labor relations, law enforcement, or other related investigatory experience

Candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge in Counterintelligence (CI) with a degree in applicable studies or equivalent experience in the field

Must be a self-starter with proven leadership skills and impeccable ethical standards

Candidate should maintain a well-established liaison in the Counterintelligence arenas with Law enforcement, prosecutorial agencies and intelligence communities

Must be well versed with legal issues as they relate to Counterintelligence including applicable state and federal statutes

Candidate must be capable of interpreting specific Government policies and procedures relating to the field such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Well refined Interviewing and organizational skills are essential

Willingness to travel on short notice

Desired skills

Current Interim or Final Secret Security Clearance

8+ years of investigations experience and background in employee or labor relations, law enforcement, or other related investigatory experience

Expertise to Identify emerging trends and patterns, risk assessment, and threat mitigation from a CI perspective and provide reporting to the leadership team

Understands relevant federal, state and local laws as well as LM policies and procedures

Team oriented, but able to work in a virtual environment

Possess strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office and SharePoint

Model ethical behavior and integrity and have a strong work ethic

Understanding of NISPOM Conforming Change 2

Understanding of NISPOM ITPSO Program requirements
