Inventory Planning / Inbound Logistics

Overview: Drive the Purchase Order process for all apparel and accessory products for Castelli and Sportful brands. Schedule and Manage the process of all inbound shipments for on-time order fulfillment. Identify a measured balance between supply and demand. Effectively communicate externally with factories and internally relating to product deliveries. Coordinate with shipping partners to manage inbound costs and improve timelines.

Accountabilities:

Inventory Purchasing / Demand Planning
Work with management team to create and submit Purchase Orders to factories
In Season Bulk Orders
Sales Sample Orders
Special Make up Orders
At-Once Orders
Communicate with factories regarding Purchase Order and associated details
Price
MOQ
Lead Time
Shipping method
Update internal system (Connected) with all PO confirmed data
Communicate internally for timely deposits required on Purchase Orders
Monthly review of product on-hand vs need to order (N2O reporting)
Maintain accuracy of Connected data reporting
Compile and maintain seasonal product margin data
Work with Development team to confirm buy-ready status and coordination of information to our Italian headquarters
Logistics / Inbound shipping
Determine best shipping method for all inbound shipments
Establish best routes and set up pricing agreements with carriers
Determine critical inventory needs prior to Ex-Factory Departure
Align product needs –Air vs Ocean split shipments
Track and report inbound shipments from factory to In Fuga LLC warehouse
Manage all ASN reporting from Factories
Advise internal shipping department of inbound shipments
Manage all internal reporting for US Customs / HTS codes / COO / factory addresses
Product Allocation
Manage receiving of product in Connected system
Reconciliation of purchase orders “actual vs. order” product received
Advise sales group of receipt of inbound product
Coordinate balance of payments for inbound shipments with accounting department

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required
Microsoft Excel 2016 Certification
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a purchasing and inbound logistics
Project management experience
Mid-level professional experience with inventory planning and buying / forecasting
Analytical and statistical abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High Degree of Organizational skills needed
Knowledge of cycling a plus
