Position Overview:

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining inventory system accuracy through supervision of all material and ingredient movements and cycle counting processes.


Schedule:

The schedule for this position will work Monday-Friday on a flexible schedule/as needed.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of 20 material handling and inventory support associates.

  • Responsibility for supervision of material handling movements within the plant including ingredients, packaging and raw materials.

  • Supervise daily counts of full goods/raw materials.

  • Assist in reconciliation of inventory variances of full goods/raw materials/ancillary items.

  • Foster/Maintain open communication with planning, production and blending teams

  • Review/Audit product movement within facilities, i.e. check out/in procedures, breakage write-off process, and product recover/destruction process.

  • Train/Develop Material Handlers

  • Review and update material storage maps to ensure proper storage of material is maintained.

  • Review Raw Material Orders/Delivery Schedule to ensure raw material supply meets production schedule demands.

  • Review production and blending schedules to ensure all ingredients and materials are staged in accordance to the schedule.

  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members. Including receiving clerks, Inventory clerks and material handlers

  • Allocate necessary space for stock rotation by managing raw material and ingredient maps.

  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget.

  • Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Associates Degree


  • Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience

  • Proficient in SAP application to manage inventory

  • Inventory management experience
