International Accountant

The Accountant 2 will be working with the local service providers in countries like Singapore, Brazil, Costa Rica, etc to work cross functionally and establish and document new business processes to ensure compliance with local rules and regulations of foreign countries and support compliance requirements. This role will work with business partners to provide international statutory accounting guidance and support and lead accounting projects and initiatives. Core function of this role will be heavily focused on implementing business processes for emerging markets. Ideal candidate has a strong foundation of accounting skills, as well as multi-currency and an intermediate accounting systems background.

Relevant Background:

4+ years of experience; public accounting sector with one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms preferred

Exposure to international monetary and foreign exchange

Intercompany experience, Cross functional working environments

Exposure working with tax teams or tax groups

Audit experience

US GAAP concepts and effects on statutory financial results.

Lead accounting projects and initiatives

BA or BS in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA a plus.
