Internal Auditor

JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Internal Audit team in conducting financial, operational, compliance and technology audits in all areas of TTX. The Internal Auditor will assist the department in providing management with an independent assessment of the company’s operations and the effectiveness of internal controls. This position will plan and execute audit assignments, in accordance with the annual audit plan and professional auditing standards, and summarize fact-based audit findings in reports to management along with practical business recommendations to address identified issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA or CIA preferred, additional certifications a plus.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards as well as internal control principles, including general IT controls.
• Superior writing abilities, including the ability to communicate audit results in an effective and understandable manner.
• Understanding of open systems environments and knowledge of various technologies, applications, operating systems, and databases. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, a plus.
• Proficiency in various Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio as well as various computer assisted audit tools and data mining/analytic tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel (up to 25%) as needed.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

General office environment; travel is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit (remain stationary within work area) and use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach. The employee is occasionally required to move about (stand, walk). The employee must occasionally lift and/or transport up to 10 pounds. Correctable vision required for close, distance, and color vision capabilities.
