Intern – System Quality Reliability Assurance Data

As an SQRA (System Quality Reliability Assurance) Data intern at Micron, you will be responsible for evaluating various data systems, tools, extraction methodologies, and general automation needs and provide input for areas of improvement.

Ideal candidates should have intermediate level experience working with most of the following:

• Applications –
  
  • Microsoft Excel
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • SharePoint and Excel Services
  • Tableau

• Languages –
  
  • SQL
  • VBA
  • PERL
  • Java
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

• Databases –
  
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Teradata

In this role, you will work with various engineering groups to understand data sources at Micron, automate data extraction and transformation, and develop metrics to monitor various system processes. During this internship, activities will include:

• Gain familiarity with various Micron data systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional resources and support groups
• Communicate weekly project status updates and areas for improvement

• Evaluate data from various sources with Micron team members to analyze trends, and monitor process health

• Evaluate current automated data extraction methods, and recommend improvements based on best known methods

• Respond to internal and external ad hoc data extraction and reporting requests
