Intern Software Engineer

Summary

Bonafide is looking for engineers who are eager to tackle the challenges of a rapidly growing web application in ReactJS. We are looking for developers to help build rich, dynamic client-side web applications using Javascript, leveraging the latest technologies like ReactJS, to launch stunning, usable and scalable products for our users.

As an intern you will design consumer facing marketplace portal experiences across our ERP platform. You weave iconography, typography, color, space and texture together to help users successfully navigate our products. The ReactJS developer will be focused on building innovative implementations while partnering with back-end team. You are curious, innovative, detail-oriented and an awesome team player, excited about our product, and excited to join the rest of our talented team.

Key Responsibilities

• You will own the design and HTML/CSS development and collaborate with the Bonafide team to launch new features, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.
• You will implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep Bonafide at the cutting edge of current technology.
• Work on our in-house front-end framework and design system, a combination of CSS and Javascript for our ReactJS platform
• Participate in design reviews and project planning sessions with the Bonafide team to analyze requirements and outline the proposed solutions.
• Write responsive, front-end code

Key Qualifications/Competencies

• Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate program
• Solid foundation in CS, competencies data structures, algorithms and software design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a strong responsive content-development background using ReactJS framework
• Experience writing clean, unobtrusive JS including experience with common libraries (jQuery, ReactJS, Javascript, Storybook and Euphoria), AWS, CSS, JIRA, Bitbucket, JSON APIs, ReactJS, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience using different development methodologies including SDLC, Scrum and/or Agile, and test-driven development
