Clipper Vacations Product & Marketing- Paid Internship- Spring/Summer 2018

Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

  • Manage and update Clipper Vacations’ hotel, tour and transportation product information and rates using Excel
  • Support with annual product contracting process with Clipper partners
  • Generate product performance and sales reports on a regular basis
  • Identify and communicate product gaps and needs, by analyzing sales data and customer experience
  • Communicate via phone or email with Clipper Vacations’ hotel and tour partners, as needed
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to implementing product updates and new product content into website
  • Identify and assist Product Department with developing new product opportunities that have potential to deliver additional revenue
  • Support Clipper Marketing and Sales Departments with various strategic projects

Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to analyze and summarize data
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite- specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication ability
    • Professional phone and email etiquette
    • Self-motivated; ability to work as part of a team with minimal direct supervision
    • Ability to travel regionally and in Canada, occasionally
  • Flexible work schedule for students; ideally at least 3-4 business days per week
