Intelligence Analyst Staff

Candidate will work with the current security professional at Balad Air Base in Iraq supporting the F-16 Program. The successful candidate will provide a wide array of international security support and cross-functional collaboration with the program personnel deployed to Balad to include, but not limited to:

·Ensure compliance with USG regulations associated with the storage, usage and dissemination of Iraqi classified information and US classified information released to the Iraqi Military.

·Interpret and implement governmental policies and procedures associated with the customer.

·Interface with company and security supplier leadership.

·Develop and administer policies and procedures for DOD activities.

·Provide security support for related activities to include, but not limited to, personnel security, classification management, and physical security for the F¬16 Operations area, Supply/Logistics Compound, F-16 Munitions Storage area, LM Life Support Areas. Work with support services to ensure area access, while retaining security integrity and compliance to security protocols and regulations.

·Responsible for conducting staff training programs and coordinating crisis management response activities, training, and exercises.

·Account for 300+ assigned LM personnel on Balad AB to ensure continual accountability. Monitor and provide security oversite prior to and during all personnel deployments and movements for business travel and R&Rs.

·Coordinate the LM Balad Crisis Management & Evacuation plan to ensure continued continuity with the environment, support services and personnel numbers. Act as the Assistant Country LM Warden for Iraq for crisis management and evacuation purposes.

·Coordinate daily activities, assignments and movements of all Protective Security Teams assigned to LM operations and personnel

·Physical security requirements Act as the primary approving authority for all access badge requests for all F-16 Restricted Areas.

· Review open source media daily for information and incidents that may impact Balad AB operations or LM personnel. Provide reports and analysis to the LM Site Manager or Deputy and LM SES management in For Worth.

·Provide initial security familiarization and orientation information to newly arrived personnel

·Perform additional duties as requested by the onsite program manager and/or SES Management.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

**Must have at least an Interim Secret Clearance to start.**

Basic Qualifications

The applicant must be able to work in Iraq as a full-time expatriate employee

Must possess cultural and security knowledge and have recent and demonstrable operational experience in various regions.

A strong physical security background and experience with coordinating or managing Private Security.

Previous hands-on experience conducting threat and vulnerability assessments, preparing and delivering regional cultural / security training, building and testing crisis management / contingency plans, enabling and assisting regional business interests, travelers and expatriates and applying an assortment of security and force protection methodologies in high threat environments is also required.

Self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain international risk landscape. The demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain close relationships that transcend cultural, ethnical and religious boundaries.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal relations, and multi-cultural awareness also required, as is the ability to articulate and present concise and risk-managed security recommendations in a timely manner. The ability to articulate and present cost effective, intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations is also necessary.

Working knowledge of NISPOM or related USG regulations

Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement Experience, Report Writing Skills, with demonstrated leadership skills.

Ability to work in a high risk environment with limited movement and confinement to a military installation.

Desired skills

Foreign Language (Arabic), Business Management, Contract Management, and Project Management skills. Established security related relationships within the Middle-East commercial and/or government security field. Knowledgeable of the Iraq political, social, religious and threat environment with operational experience in country.

Database management tools, and other basic IT or web enabling skills is also desired.

·Prior emergency response, crisis management or first responder experience.

·Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, access control/closed circuit TV applications and badging.

·Valid passport required.
